Meet the Heart Behind the Wonderings
Hi there! I’m Catherine Frowd, the lead "wonderer" behind this shop.
As a creator (and a fellow explorer at heart), I’ve always believed that a blank piece of paper is the most powerful toy in a child's toy box. During my own childhood I spent every moment I could creating art and dreaming of crafts. I now have two children who are both craft enthusiasts and I have seen their natural creativity bloom.
Wild Child Wonderings was born from a desire to bridge the gap between structured learning and the "wild" curiosity that children naturally possess.
I hand-draw every illustration you see here—from the whimsical houses to the tiny garden bugs—because I want your kids to feel the human touch behind the lines. My goal is to provide a "spark" that invites your child to tell their own story, dream up their own inventions, and see the magic in their own backyard.
